I love shooting destination weddings for so many different reasons but one of them is that most people at the wedding are on holiday so there is always such a relaxed/ party atmosphere, these guys certainly let their hair down. Had loads of fun with Penny and Chris, so grateful for the opportunity to photograph such a beautiful and fun wedding in France.

Teaming up with some of New Zealand's amazing wedding and fashion industry people we put together this shoot featuring the iconic New Zealand landscape. Being known for its broad vistas and wind swept hills, I was particularly drawn to the wind weathered trees and ancient looking forests. After days exploring, I found this secret little lichen-covered forest placed beside a wind swept hill. We ventured out one rainy afternoon to capture this textured landscape and the contrasting white vintage inspired dresses from A La Robe.

It has taken me sometime to get around to posting this, mainly because I am still in denial. Don't worry nothing happened to the lovely Mariko (pictured here).
So as some of you may know we went to Borneo this year, I have dreamed of going to Borneo and getting lost in the jungle with my camera for a very long time, in fact the idea of this is what got me into photography in the first place. So while this was a holiday as opposed to purely work, I made the most of the opportunity and captured as much of the amazingness as possible. I lugged my camera up the highest peak in Asia, captured giant...
Avian Arboreta attempts to bring my fine art photography aspirations into my fashion work, using nature and in-camera techniques to create a surreal environment set-off by Mariam Seddiq’s intricate garments and the Australian Barn Owl.
The forest and the decorative creatures that inhabit it inspired this shoot. Mariam Seddiq’s hand embellished couture gowns and bijoux complimented the owl’s intricate feathers. The owls featured in this shoot are from Raptor Vision and these birds are used as ambassadors for their species to help educate the public on birds of prey conservation, Raptor...
When Abby and John asked me to shoot their wedding I was so excited and honoured, not only because Abby is a childhood friend but that they would entrust me to capture such an amazing location. Bambu Indah in Ubud, Bali, certainly didn't disappoint. From the rice fields to the antique Javanese buildings to the view, river, bamboo structures, food and so much more. The Balinese pay so much attention to detail is was almost overwhelming attempting to capture it all. I love colour, and this wedding delivered it in abundance, I found I had to tone the colour down on many photographs as the natural...
13 years ago Jess and I studied photography together at a local college on the Sunshine Coast. Jess went on to become a talented musician meeting Marco whilst they studied music together, he was in a heavy mental band and she was a folk singer, now they are in a band together. These two were so much fun to work with and I loved everything about their wedding, especially the DIY touches that represented their personalities so well, strangely it had a boho meets metal feel. Wishing you a happy, healthy and whole life together Jess and Marco.

Very Excited to share the music film clip I created for 'The Flumes'. This is the first film clip I have ever created and it was a blast. A huge thanks to The Flumes for giving me this opportunity, creative freedom and for having faith in my crazy ideas. Looking forward to working with these talented musicians again in the near future.

One night, feeling a little empty about the lack of room for creativity in my life, I decided to walk out my front door and take a photo of the scrub, this photo brought back my spark and was the start of The Secret Garden. After being overseas I came home so inspired by the incredible places I had seen and people I had met, we often get so excited by the new and exotic, that we forget to appreciate the beauty at our front door step. The Secret Garden aims to answer a question I was once asked, "if you could take one photograph what would you want it to look like?" My answer was, "The...
